At Dublin18 Dental Care, we understand that our patients are busy and also that accidents and emergencies can happen at any time. This is why we offer same-day treatment, flexible opening times and evening appointments.

Our opening hours are:

Monday 9am to 8.30pm

Tuesday 8am to 6.30pm

Wednesday 8am to 6.30pm

Thursday 8am to 8.30pm

Friday 8am to 6pm

Outside of these hours, we also offer 24 hour assistance via a portal on our website. If you need advice quickly, simply log onto the Internet, visit our website and fill out the enquiry form and we will endeavour to respond urgently.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

If you need urgent dental treatment, call us and we will do everything we can to see you as quickly as possible. If you’re in pain, don’t suffer in silence!

In the meantime, we can offer advice over the telephone and if it’s outside of working hours, we can provide advice via our website, which is accessible 24 hours a day.

Examples of dental injuries and emergency situations include broken teeth, dislodged teeth, severe dental pain, dental abscesses and toothache associated with the wisdom teeth.

Preventing dental emergencies

Sometimes, it’s impossible to prevent a dental emergency; however, some accidents and illnesses can be prevented. Steps you can take include wearing a protective mouth guard when playing sport, always wearing a seatbelt, seeing your dentist for regular check-ups and getting any symptoms, such as bleeding gums and toothache, checked out, rather than leaving them. We also recommend preventative measures such as maintaining good oral hygiene at home and steering clear of foods and drinks, which can increase your risk of decay; examples include fizzy drinks, sweets and biscuits.
